Materials and tools
Yarnart Jeans yarn – “gray 49”, “white 62”, “brown 70”, “beige
05”, etc. You can choose a different color, at your discretion.
You can also use cotton or semi-cotton of other brands. For the toy
you will need less than half a skein + a little contrasting color for the hooves.
Acrylic yarn is best suited for the mane and tail, it fluffs up perfectly and that is what I use. I have Pekhorka yarn “children’s novelty” –
colors “white 01”, “frez 89”, “grillage 173”. Any other brand of acrylic yarn will do.
Hook – 2 mm
Filler – synthetic padding, synthetic fluff, holofiber and ınc.
Bead eyes – 3-4 mm.
Thread and needle for ıncing eyes.
Knitting markers or thread for marking the beginning of a row and loops.
Tailor’s pins – for ıncpreliminary fastening of parts.
Scissors
Slicker brush – for fluffing up the mane and tail.
Legend

(12) – the number in brackets indicates the final number of loops in the row
Toy making process
In this pattern, we start with a brown crochet, hook 2 mm.
1 row: 6SC in amigurumi ring (6)
2 row: 2SC in each loop (12)
3 row: 1SC, INC – repeat 6 times (18)
4 row: 2SC, INC – repeat 6 times (24)
5 row: 3SC, INC – repeat 6 times (30)
6 row: 4SC, INC – repeat 6 times (36)
7 row: knit SC without changes (36)
Do not break the thread. Divide the piece in half, 18 loops each. Fold and close at the center in a “figure eight” with the front side out. Knit each part separately.
Count the beginning of the row from the jumper.
Muzzle:
Continue to knit from the same thread in a circle:
1 row: knit SC without changes (18)
2 row: 6SC; (DEC – repeat 3 times); 6SC (15)
3-4 rows: knit 2 rows SC without changes (15)

Break the thread.

Do not break the thread, knit the incised back leg from it. But first, divide the loops,
orienting ourselves from the center, place markers. For each leg, select 12 loops
(see photo)
After the loops for the legs are divided, knit to the point counted to
12 loops and connect it to the center. Close and knit in a circle the ıncav leg:
1-10 rows: knit 10 rows 12SC (12)

Incyachen the thread remaining from the beginning of the row into the fabric.
Fold the ears, pinch and sew from the bottom, see Photo.
Incyachen the ears, ınc first securing them to pins.
Incyachen the bead eyes. The distance between the eyes is approximately 4 loops. When sewing, the eyes need to be slightly recessed, slightly pulling the thread.
For the mane, cut threads approximately 15 cm long, for the tail, approximately 12 cm.
The thickness is up to you, I do not do it very thickly, because after I
divide the thread, the mane and tail will become very fluffy.
Tie the threads for the tail in the center with a longer thread. We will
sew the tail with the same thread.
Measure and sew the tail. Trim the length a little with scissors, if
Required.
Secure the mane with a crochet hook. To do this, fold the thread in half and crochet it
through the loops in the center of the head and neck. In the formed loop, crochet the
free ends of the thread, tighten well (see photo).
Three attachment points in a row are enough. Start from the ears and finish
in the middle of the neck, make sure that the mane goes symmetrically in the center.
Next, if you have the patience, you need to divide each thread of the mane and tail
into three component threads. To do this, untwist the
knit, pick it up with a needle and
divide the main thread. You will get a wavy, airy and voluminous mane.
However, keep in mind that in this form the yarn is easily torn and the toy will require
careful handling.
Carefully comb the ends with a slicker brush, the mane and tail will become like a cloud.
The horse is ready!
